I am a summer born baby but I Iove springs more than summer because of the beauty nature brings. Spring season gives incredible delight, satisfaction, and bliss.

Springtime implies the time has come to bid a fond farewell to those pants, substantial sweaters, and beanies. Time to break out the shorts, dresses, and flip-flops! Your apparel is lighter as are your spirits!

Spring season is the best and most loved period of the year. Individuals (particularly kids) are attached to this season in view of its excellence, slight cool, and agreeable nature. It is the ruler of all periods of the year and considered as the most loved period of the writers.

As a mother who has a young daughter, it gives me the opportunity to style her in cute outfits. Outfits during this season for girls are very affordable because you’re not buying coats and jumpers which can be very expensive.

When the flowers come out, people love to see more flowers in everything your wearing.  For example, floral dresses, shirts, and even pants are in a style which is how I like to dress my little girl.

The genuine magnificence of spring sustains our wellbeing and we disregard every one of the distresses of life. It fills the heart with bunches of satisfaction and joy. In this way, we truly appreciate this season with wonderful sights all over the place.

How do you dress your child for Spring?

MINDING MY BUSINESS

Featured

img_6361_facetune_15-03-2019-12-22-29

“Come, let us have some tea and continue to talk about happy things”. Chaim Potok
We leave in a society where people don’t like minding their business! Many people spend their time gossiping about other people instead of doing something useful with their lives. Let me give you five reasons why minding your business is good for your health.

1. First and most importantly, you will have way less drama in your life.

Since being a mother I’ve learned the more I disassociate myself with certain people, I have less drama in my life and I have more time to focus on my child and working on our relationship to be stronger. I don’t need to put myself in peoples business unless they ask for a piece of advice that’s when I’ll say something.

2. You get to smile more!

Yes! When you’re always in peoples business you’ll feel so drained just hearing their problems. I’ve learned to put myself first and I feel happier and always smiling.

3. You are in control of your social life.

Do you remember having lots of friends, right? Do you also remember how they all disappeared and now you only have one to two friends? Well, the reason for that could’ve been a lot of your friends were too busy minding other peoples business! That’s so true because I remember when grouping up I had so many friends but when I became a mother my only friends were my partner, daughter, family members and a couple of friends. I have more control of my social life now because I don’t surround myself with people like “she said, he said” which brings drama all the time. I always remind myself to stay away from people that I believe could bring drama to my life

4. You have more time for yourself!

Maybe some of us don’t like to spend every night at home binge-watching Netflix series such as Power, Narcos and Prison Break but many people forget that having alone time is great for your health, mind, and soul. You should never have to play the role of a therapist, or a mother to your friends because that’s what happens when you don’t mind your business. Yes, they’ll still count on you to listen, but chances are they won’t be calling you early in the morning or late in the night, shouting about “this person” and her friends said this and that. Instead, you’ll get a good night sleep and wake up in the morning feeling fresh and ready for the day.

5. You will be happy and at peace.

So, number five concludes everything. On the off chance that you mind your business, you won’t need to watch what you state around who you’re with. You won’t need to stress over any double-crossing females (or guys) taking your loved one. You even get the opportunity to pick and pick what dramatization you will tune in to. To finish it off, you won’t be hauled into any show and you can simply tune in.

THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY

Now that you’ve started your journey of becoming healthy and fit, I am going to be sharing with you many tips to help you all the way.
Many of us skip breakfast because were rushing to get out the door. That’s a mistake. You need food in your system long before lunchtime. If you don’t eat first thing, you may get so hungry later on that you snack on high-fat, high sugar foods.

Breakfast kick-starts your metabolism, helping you burn calories throughout the day. It also gives you the energy you need to get things done and helps you focus at work or at school. Those are just a few reasons why it’s the most important meal of the day.

Many have linked eating breakfast to good health, including better memory and concentration, lower levels of cholesterol, and lower chances of getting diabetes, heart disease, and being overweight.

Nutritionists advise:

  • breakfast should be eaten within two hours of waking up
  • a healthy breakfast should provide calories in the range of 20-35% of your guideline daily allowance (GDA).

Apart from providing us with energy, breakfast foods are good sources of important nutrients such as calcium, iron and B vitamins as well as protein and fiber. The body needs these essential nutrients and research shows that if these are missed at breakfast, they are less likely to be compensated for later in the day. Fruit and vegetables are good sources of vitamins and minerals so try to include a portion of your daily five at breakfast, whether that be a banana or glass of fruit juice.

Now that you know breakfast is the most important meal of the day please make an effort to not miss it again!!

When people tell me they can’t afford to join a gym, I tell them to go outside; planet Earth is a gym and we’re already members. Run, climb, sweat, and enjoy all of the natural wonder that is available to you.  -Steve Maraboli

Since you made the decision of staying healthy and fit, the hardest part which a lot of people struggle with through this journey is staying motivated to exercise. So, don’t stress yourself I am going to be sharing with few tips that will help you when you feel like not exercising or going to the gym.

A gym membership is a great way to gain access to fitness equipment, classes, and trainers of high quality. However, they are not used regularly by many people who have gym memberships. If you’re trying to get yourself motivated to go to the gym more often, there are several strategies you can try, such as enjoying yourself, connecting with people in your gym and keeping your gym bag somewhere easy grab and go.

Remind yourself why you decided to embark on the journey of becoming fit and healthy in the first place. For example, what’s your goal?

  • Do you want to become stronger and feel less stressed out?
  • You want to be fitter?  Then you need to lose weight, but first, you need to get out of your sedentary lifestyle.

Learn how you can achieve these goals you sent yourself in the beginning
You can turn to the trainer at your gym, someone in your social circle who works out, or check Youtube, blogs or even apps that may be of help in your journey.

Get a workout partner

They make the workout less boring, provide motivation and act as a spotter. So, if your someone that struggles to go to the gym alone then the answer your problem is finding someone that you can go with.

Set attainable and quantifiable goals. Track and review these periodically

Some people make the mistake of setting themselves a goal that they wouldn’t be able to achieve which is why they tend to struggle and give up quickly when they don’t see a difference quickly. Also, make sure you’re monitoring your progress so you can see how far you’ve become since the first day you started.

Eat healthily

Cut out junk food. Instead, have plenty of carbs before the workout and protein after. Try to avoid fried and oily foods.
You DO NOT need supplements to see results if your diet is tuned right.

Have patience

Changes will happen at different rates for different people. Instead of comparing yourself to others the best solution is to take it easy and just enjoy the moment. If your patient then you’ll be stress-free and it’ll give more time to focus on your goals more.

Does the prospect of working out while on your period make you need to resign your running shoes for good? In case you’re worried about how your period will influence your wellness schedule, you’re not the only one.

For some reasons, many individuals avoid doing exercises during this time. In any case, there’s actually no reason to avoid practice just because you have your period

Many women’s standard method of adapting to period pain and cramps is to snatch a boiling water bottle, toss a couple Nurofen down my throat, and eat a great deal of chocolate. However, if your an athlete or someone that exercises regularly then crying-at-adverts isn’t generally going to help your exercising body routine.

Exercise is a great alternative to advance a healthy way of life for the vast majority. For ladies, this can be particularly significant with regards to hormonal parity and the conditions that are specific to females. There are some demonstrated activities and procedures that can be exceptionally advantageous for you during your menstrual cycle, just as certain things that ought to be abstained from during this time.

BENEFITS OF EXERCISING DURING YOUR PERIOD

Exercising can combat tiredness-

Do you know how at times when you’re on your period, you sense that you’ve recently run a long distance race ceaselessly to drink any water? All things considered, in all honesty, exercise can really assist a great deal with that (and no, it’s not really pretty much doing high-force exercises). Studies show that low-sway exercise can truly support vitality levels and battle those very lethargic sentiments that come over you during your period.

Controls Your Period-

Do you experience the ill effects of substantial periods? Did you know whether you practice on your period your stream could wind up lighter? It’s valid! Working out parities your hormones, which is an immediate connect to how overwhelming or light your period is. It works the equivalent on the off chance that you have an unpredictable period. Practicing can enable your menstrual cycle to remain on track and customary.

Helps spasms and get your blood going

When you work out, it expands the course of blood through your body. It additionally builds endorphins, which is a substance that connects with the receptors in your mind that decrease the sentiment of torment. Endorphins, at last, make your body feel better and trigger positive sentiments in your body. This alleviates pressure in your stomach area, legs and back. I don’t think about you, however, my upper thighs FEEL it when I have menstrual issues, so this is noteworthy in addition to!

Exercise lessens pressure. Consider it, you are experiencing a ton when you bleed and your body can feel it. Whenever focused on, it just increments menstrual agonies as well.

So ladies, don’t make the excuse of stopping your health and fitness journey because of your own period. Instead of keeping going but reduce the power to which that will not make you too tired.

Have a blessed week!!!

How to start a fitness and health journey to better yourself?

First of all, congratulations on wanting to make a change. I believe, deeply wanting to do something about your health and fitness is something to be proud of.
Now, I would recommend a few things:
Diet
First and foremost, switch to drinking water and nothing but water. I personally drink water at all times unless it is post-workout and I need a protein shake to refuel. Just by switching to drinking only water, you could see a quick drop of 5–15 lbs over 2–6 weeks. You should be drinking water when you wake up, with all meals, before you go to bed, and whenever you feel slightly thirsty.
Breakfast
Although you don’t know how to cook, eggs, oatmeal, and a piece of fruit (Apple, Banana, Orange, Grapefruit are all good options). This is simple and quick. If you are a coffee addict, drink a cup of coffee so you aren’t craving fatty foods, and getting hit with caffeine withdrawal headaches.
Lunch
Try to go with another piece of fruit, a vegetable (baby carrots, or 1/2 an Avocado), a Greek yogurt, and a turkey sandwich. Once again, if you can’t cook simplicity is key.
Dinner
A piece of grilled chicken (if you can’t cook at all, try the bags of frozen pre-cooked chicken from your local supermarket, served on top of a large bed of rice (you can boil rice in 5 minutes) and a vegetable to go along with it. if you don’t like chicken, fish (Tuna, Tilapia, and Salmon), or lean ground beef steak are also good options.
Let it be known, you should have 1 cheat meal every 4 days or so. Throw a cookie in with lunch or dinner. Maybe treat yourself to your favourite snack on occasion.
Workout
If you are embarrassed to go to the gym, I would try to do a good bit of working out at home. A pull-up bar can be put up in your doorway for about £30 and push-ups, sit-ups, burpees, lunges, and body weight squats are free. There are other good body weight exercises you could supplement too. Once you get up to being able to consistently knock out sets of 10 pull-ups or chin-ups, and 20 push ups and sit ups you’ll be ready for the gym. You can hit the pavement in your neighbourhood and jog or walk to burn calories as well. If you’re good at swimming then use it because it’s a great exercise that burns calories .

I would recommend 3–4 workouts a week when you are starting out, and progress from there if you feel you can do more.  Eating within an hour is recommended. I personally recommend 8–12 oz of Chocolate Milk or Protein drink, a handful of Almonds or a spoonful of Peanut Butter, and a 1/3 cup of fruit. Protein to rebuild Muscle, simple sugars and good fats to start protein synthesis and re-gain depleted energy. If you don’t eat correctly post workout, it will make the next day and next workout even more of a struggle.

I hope this helps a little bit, best of luck. I am rooting for you!!!
